“My reason for joining is, I saw a few posts on Facebook and started thinking about my wedding gown that was just hanging in the closet for 10 years. Then, I saw a post that AGOWNY was looking to form a fundraising committee and I decided that I could help with that. I then decided to donate my gown and took it right to Emily Doring and had the most wonderful feeling after I dropped off my gown. I had a miscarriage in December 2013 and I knew that my dress could help parents in one of the darkest times of their lives. I have also begun dismantling dresses too. I feel extremely blessed to be a part of this organization and having my best friend join me in this journey makes it even better.”
